Learning Introductory Web Development
In this 15-hour micro-credential, learners will learn the basics of web development. They will discover what HTML is and HTML attributes, as well as explore what tools are needed for web development.

Learn at your own pace using a computer, tablet or smartphone
Take up to 90 days to complete the course
Receive a certificate of course completion and digital badge for successfully completing the course which can be shared on social media (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), downloaded as a PDF, or even embedded in an email signature
Upon successful completion of this micro-credential, you should be able to:
01. Recognize which tools are needed for web development and what is HTML and HTML attributes
02. Use validation and browser development tools to debug HTML documents
03. Work with metadata and stylesheets and scripts
04. Create accessible tables, images, vector graphics, SEO-friendly URLs, and videos, while adhering to copyright rules
05. Create local and remote repositories
06. Operate different web server applications
07. Use Document Object Model and other browser development tools
08. Create an HTML page
