Overview

In this micro-credential, learners will explore risk management methodologies and the application of risk management techniques within Industry 4.0, focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities presented by advanced digital technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, and big data. Participants will learn frameworks and methodologies to identify, assess, prioritize, and develop action plans for mitigating risks.

In addition, participants will learn how to implement actions that reduce risk, along with the necessary and sufficient conditions to maintain an acceptable level of risk. Participants will develop the skills needed to implement effective risk management strategies that enhance organizational resilience by ensuring processes can be performed consistently and reliably, and to ensure the organization can successfully implement the technologies associated with digital transformation.

Learners who successfully complete the course will earn a digital badge and a certificate of course completion, which can be downloaded and shared via social media. 

You will have access to the course for 90 days to work through the content at your own pace.

Skills & Knowledge:

At the end of this micro-credential, learners should be able to:

  • Use risk management frameworks and methodologies to assess and determine risks, as well as mitigate potential risks.

  • Assess potential risks that are associated with Industry 4.0 to effectively develop action plans that will reduce or mitigate these risks.

  • Apply appropriate controls to maintain acceptable levels of risk for organiztions.

  • Develop action plans that will help to reduce potential risks for organizations, particularly as it relates to Industry 4.0.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of action plans to reduce risks and the changes required to maintain acceptable levels of risk for the organization.
