Recognize the importance of children's health and safety within the home
Explain the various concerns regarding outdoor safety, including the importance of car seat safetyam
Explain common illnesses in children, birth to ten years old and pre-teens and teens
Describe the need for vaccines and preventative measures to stop the spread of illness
Identify what is needed to care for children with special needs and disabilities
Differentiate the considerations and treatment required when caring for children with allergies
Practice fire safety measures and requirements such as evacuation plans and working with fire extinguishers
Use appropriate ergonomic positioning and exercise to maintain good health
