Micro-credential Overview

In this short 6-hr micro-credential, learners will explore the feeding needs of younger and older infants, including the value of breastfeeding and bottle feeding. They will also discover the order in which foods are introduced to infants to ensure that adequate nutrition and safety are considered.  They will also learn about the feeding skills required for older infants and when it is safe to introduce solid foods to them.  Lastly, learners will identify which foods to avoid to lessen the risk of choking hazards.
