Description

In this short 10-hour micro-credential, learners will explore the different steps and phases of effective event planning. Learners will also identify and develop solutions to address event planning considerations such as technical issues, entertainment requirements, and decor while staying within budget.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this micro-credential, you should be able to:

  • 1. Describe event planning and the different steps and phases that occur throughout the entire process

  • 2. Select strategies and solutions that address attendee's concerns and issues with specific events

  • 3. Determine the steps and processes to be considered when there are last-minute changes to an event

  • 4. Find appropriate solutions to address last-minute changes that may occur with evening planning

  • 5. Select strategies to stay within budget, especially when there are significant limitations that are present during the event planning stages

  • 6. Develop solutions to address event planning considerations such as technical issues, entertainment requirements, and decor while staying within budget
