Overview

In this 25-hour, self-paced micro-credential, the learners will explore the essential functionalities of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile, learning how to install, set up, and integrate these tools for seamless data visualization, analysis, and collaboration across devices. Learners will also gain hands-on experience in data transformation, including importing data from Excel, making necessary edits, converting data into insightful visualizations, and sharing it for enhanced collaboration.

Learners who successfully complete the course will earn a digital badge and certificate of course completion that can be downloaded and shared via social media. 

You will have access to the course for 90 days to work through the content.

Knowledge & Skills

Upon successful completion of this micro-credential, learners should be able to:

  • Apply the installation procedures of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Services, and Power BI Mobile to optimize data analysis capabilities and ensure seamless integration across devices.

  • Connect to a data source in Power BI to facilitate analysis and reporting.

  • Analyze the functionalities of Power BI Desktop, Service, and Mobile, along with data import and transformation processes, to optimize their use for data analysis, collaboration, and accuracy.
