AutoCAD or AUTOCAD LT, which is better for the Free AutoCAD online training course?
AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT are good options to complete the course. Most of the tools that make the difference between the two software are advanced tools; therefore, if you enroll in our level 2 and 3 courses, you will require the full version.
The difference between the two is the full AutoCAD has more functions, such as the 3D functions, programming support, and networking license options. Obviously, these are features that even the majority of advanced users don't use, let alone beginners.
How to Get AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT
Qualified students can download a three-year educational license, which will provide access to full versions of AutoCAD.
In general, the AutoCAD Student License is the full professional version. The only drawback is the Educational plot stamp warning and watermark that is displayed when a drawing is printed if it was ever opened with a student-licensed version.
AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and other student version licenses can be obtained from the AutoDesk Education portal.
An AutoCAD 30-day trial version is also available for download. This is a great option to get the software for a course like this one.
How Long is the Course?
In general, a user can complete the course within 2 to 10 hours. You will have 90 days to complete the course.
