Micro-credential Overview

In this micro-credential, the learners are teachers or other educational professionals who work with K-12 children. Most teachers have encountered students who are diagnosed with ADHD, or who may have suspected ADHD with no diagnosis. Often, these students exhibit behaviours that can become very frustrating. How are we, the teachers, to respond when students behave in ways that send the lesson off-track or derail classroom management?

The aim of this course is to provide you, the K-12 teacher, with practical responses and strategies for supporting students with ADHD in your classroom. This short course will equip you to support the ADHD student in learning more about their own strengths, challenges and behaviours, and to empower them with tools to succeed.

Review the curriculum below to see the topics covered.

Learners who successfully complete the course will earn a digital badge and certificate of course completion that can be downloaded and shared via social media.

You will have access to the course for 90 days to work through the content.
