Overview

In this micro-credential, you learn about trial balance and what constitutes "credit" and "debit" when working with financial data. You will identify how everyday financial transactions contribute to the entries that go into the financial statements. You will explore the effect depreciation has on major assets and be able to calculate assets. You will discover the two key documents that make up a financial package, including the balance sheet and income statement. 

Learners who successfully complete the course will earn a digital badge and certificate of course completion that can be downloaded and shared via social media. 

You will have access to the course for 90 days to work through the content.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, learners should be able to:
