Description

In this short 7-hour micro-credential, learners will define plagiarism and academic dishonesty and the different types of plagiarism. They will become familiar with Sault College's Academic Integrity Policy and how to use appropriate APA (7th Edition) in their work. Learners will recognize the importance of documenting their sources and will be given the opportunity to practice creating a title page, in-text citations, annotated bibliographies, and a reference page.

Learners who successfully complete the course will earn a digital badge and certificate of course completion that can be downloaded and shared via social media. 

You will have access to the course for 90 days to work through the content.

At the end of this Micro-credential, you should be able to:

  • Define academic dishonesty and plagiarism and the different types of plagiarism

  • Recognize how to use APA (7th Edition) and the importance of documenting different sources in your work
